As a graduate of the CD-ED Business Management and Advanced Accounting program you’ll make a seamless transition from training into the professional world. Admission Requirements

A grade 12 diploma or equivalent plus a previous course in Business Accounting (or experience in the field) is technically all you need; however, it's also important that you are a good fit within the program.

What You Learn

This advanced computer training diploma program has a focus on the businessperson wishing to further their education in accounting and management. Graduates will have an understanding of the basic accounting cycle as well as the procedures for financial accounting and managerial accounting.

Students will be taught basic office software skills with a focus on how these software packages are applied in a business setting. Graduates will also have an understanding of Canadian business practices as well as specific management skills such as organizing, planning, leading and controlling.

Students will learn how to produce financial information that is useful in day-to-day decision making. Graduates also gain a comprehensive look at Canadian business practices with an emphasis on social responsibility, small business, communication technologies, and globalization.
