It's simple: We've been providing quality online education longer than anyone else. The Centre for Distance Education was established in 1996 as an alternative to in-class schooling to address the needs of students who prefer to learn at home or in the workplace.
Registered as a Private Career College under the Private Career Colleges Regulations Act, we have been continuously developing new programs to keep up with the changing demands of the workplace and to give our students an edge in an increasingly competitive job market.
We continually invest resources to complete research projects that help us provide the most current programs and technology. This includes working with educators from public institutions such as universities to develop new teaching methods that are specific to the adult learner.
An institution is only as good as the individuals responsible for conveying information to its students. Our instructors must live up to our very high expectations. We don’t require excellence, we demand it!
All of our instructors are fully qualified and licensed with the Department of Education and Training; all possess university degrees and/or several years of related work experience. Instructors who have experience working in the industry they teach know what graduates can expect in the workforce. Therefore, students are trained to deal with the potential obstacles they might encounter. The management of CD-ED endeavors to create a comfortable and secure environment in which to work and we know that all of our employees convey this attitude to their students. | |||
